Why The University of Chicago - M. Kelly

I chose the University of Chicago because I wanted to continue to run in college and UChicago’s program seemed like the perfect fit. I immediately felt comfortable with Coach Hall. I feel like he will push me to compete at a higher level and improve on my times from high school. I also really connected with the girls on the team when I met them. They have an excellent D3 program, and I cannot wait to start running for them.

I also chose the University of Chicago because the academics are outstanding there. I think the combination of academics and athletics will help me succeed. I felt at home the minute I stepped foot on campus. I feel very fortunate that I have the opportunity to attend this amazing school and continue my running career there!
