Penn State director of cross country/track & field John Gondak has announced 33 new additions to the program's cross country and track & field roster ahead of the 2021-22 season.

"The coaching staff is thrilled with the incoming class of Penn State Cross Country/Track and Field recruits," Gondak said. "We have a great range of talent that includes freshman high school All-Americans to graduate transfer conference champions. Everyone joining the program recognizes the amazing impact a Penn State degree will have for them along with being able to help the program. We are all excited to see them compete in the Blue and White!"

The Oregon cross country and track and field teams will receive a boost from its latest class of newcomers, a group of 40 standout additions ahead of the 2021-22 season. In a display of the program's reach and global appeal, this recruiting class features incoming Ducks from 11 states—including eight from Oregon—and six countries.

"This is an exciting time for our program," head coach Robert Johnson said. "Welcoming the next class of Ducks to the Oregon family is always one of the highlights of the year. Cal Poly is set to soon welcome 29 student-athletes to campus, as Mustang Track & Field and Cross Country has announced its incoming recruiting class.

"The coaching staff is excited about the incoming class of Mustangs," Cal Poly track and field director Mark Conover said in announcing the National Letter of Intent signees. "Individuals among the best in the state and nation across different event areas highlight a bright, talented group. The incoming Mustangs add depth as we continue to build upon our academic and athletic success."

The Mustangs are coming off a spring which saw the program win the Big West women's team conference championship, while the men's squad finished a close second for the 2021 trophy following up on its 2019 cross country crown.

College Track and Field Recruiting

Boston University director of track and field Gabe Sanders has announced the addition of 33 recruits to the class of 2024. 14 student-athletes will join the women's team next year, while 19 will join the men's team.

"It's my pleasure to announce the Boston University Cross Country and Track & Field rising class of 2024," Sanders said. "This is a testament of the hard work and due diligence of our staff and team to construct a class that embodies the direction this program wants to go in the future, and that is to become the standard of academic and athletic excellence not only in the Patriot League but the NCAA as well. This is probably the most well balanced and deepest class BU has seen across all event areas in a long time. The coaching staff did a phenomenal job expressing the vision for this program and finding those student athletes that not only fit in that vision but are excited to be a part of it.
